Okay, so I have the front page perfect (http://www.scifispace.com) but having problems figuring out how to set all other pages to a 2 column layout (narrower left column with a wide main column). I’m using dynamic widgets to control what appears where, but removing the right column widgets still doesn’t allow the content to go wider. http://scifispace.com/no-x-files-movie-tv-series/ for example as well as my wiwi and forum pages I want the content column to fill to the right.

I set the forum page to use the sidebar – content layout, but it’s cutting the left column items – I want this column to stay the same width as on the home page. How do I fix the width? http://scifispace.com/science-fiction-discussion-forums/

I managed to figure this out for pages like the forums by adjusting the layout in the sidebar-content template, but I cannot figure out how to make this work for single.php. I do NOT have a layout selector showing in the edit > post nor can I find anywhere to set the default template to use for all post pages. Is there somehow I can manually tell single.php to use the sidebar-content layout? I think this would fix the problem with the wiki pages too.
