Whenever I enable the pinboard theme, the ability for users to comment on posts disappears.
Note: allowing to comment is enabled globally, allowing to comment is enabled on that specific post.
It does work correctly on ‘Pages’, just not on “Posts”
steps to reproduce:
1) clean wordpress install (2011 theme)
2) create a single post (enable ‘Allow Comments’)
3) view post detail page. /?p=
4) you see that users can post comments
5) install pinboard,
6) enable pinboard theme
7) go to post details again /?p=
result

The same post is still visible… but NO ui for users to comment on the post
There is no way (I could no find it) to enable user commenting
