Hi,
What size you want to set to the slider? I see that your slider is small http://www.mathgamesite.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Header.png
Is this the size you want to set the slider?

Hi mailalon,
You control the layout of the theme in theme/options. Try the layout with no sidebars, which is smaller than the rest.
Concerning the slider images, the slider always takes the full size of the blog width for the image and expands the image proportional in height. When using the smaller layout with no sidebars, it reduces the width of the blog and therefore the slider image aswell.
As the slider always takes the full width of the blog, the only way to reduce an image, other than the layout with no sidebars, is to reduce the heigth of the image before you upload it.
Another way to reduce the slider image in width is to change the width of the blog.

Thanks for the help.
How do I control the blog width? While keeping the sidebars? I would love to have a more industry standard width and having the sidebars even if they are narrower. In addition I would like to have the slider to take only 2/3 of the screen and have a or. Frame text on the right side like http://www.ixl.com is doing for example.is there a way to control it?
Best,
Alon
