Hyperlinks on posts and pages don't work

Hello there, thanks for a great theme.

I am having this problem with none of the hyperlinks I add on posts and pages working.
The syntax is correct, the links are displayed as such on the editing window and on the published page but they do not change when hovering over them and the mouse pointer does not change and it does not become clickable and just doesn’t do anything. Behaves like the rest of the text.

This is also true of links like “log out”.

Have you ever encountered this before? I searched the forums but did not find anything. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
