Hello, I’m a newbie and made a fatal error today in trying to experiment with a content slider for the header of my esplanade themed website. I’m wondering if there is any way to access the .php for the header so I can restore it. I did export a file before attempting the change, only to find that the export only had one page of the code. Is there a place I can look for the original code? this is the section I screwed up

also – can you suggest a slider plugin for a novice to be able to install in this theme?

    thanks

You could resolve the problem if you have FTP access to the server on which the site is running. You download the original Esplanade.zip from the WordPress Theme Repository and overwrite the current header.php with the one from the ZIP-file.

This should make the site working again.

There’s a fine slider that comes with Esplanade, have you tried that one already?
