    Hi,

Could anyone kindly show me where I do the actual editing on my 404 page?

You need to edit the 404.php file. You also have a widget area called “404 Page” where you can add widgets that are displayed only on the 404 pages.

    Hi

    Forgive me, I’m not following.
Is there a place where I can edit the content of the 404 page in Pinboard.

    I’m pointing
    http://www.ramsing.com
    http://www.affectivesafety.com
    http://www.unpluggedleadership.com
    http://www.prezitrain.com
    and others to http://www.externacity.com

What I really need to do is to capture this URL:
    http://www.affectivesafety.com/dong
(where dong is short of Danish Oil and Natural Gas, please)

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated
    Sincerely, Ulrik

    Howdy all,
In case anyone else finds this topic…

I found that the best solution was to create the desired 404 page as a post, and then set that post as the redirect page using the “404 Simple Redirect” plugin.

The plugin allows one to automatically redirect all 404 errors to a specified link. I created a post titled “404” and directed all redirects to mydomain.com/404/ (arbitrary, as you can set the redirect page to anything you wish).

    Simple, effective.
