My menu has 7 first-level pages. One of them has 20 second-level pages. You get to them by a pull-down menu from the navigation bar. That works just fine on my Mac. But on the iPhone, I tap Navigation and it shows the list of 7 first-level pages. On that list, the name of the parent page with 20 sub-pages has a downward arrow (triangle) symbol, which I take to indicate a pull-down menu, but nothing happens when I tap the triangle. Or more exactly, it goes to the parent page, just as it would if you tap somewhere else on the same bar. Does anyone know how to make that triangle work?
The other way I’d like to navigate to the 20 sub-pages is by tapping on their thumbnail on the parent page, which is currently just the 20 thumbnails laid out in a grid. Each thumbnail links to a media page for that image. Can I change those links? I should mention that these are not thumbnails generated by WP. I prepared them offline. Each has a caption. I’d settle for being able to assign a link to the caption.
The arrow’s size is too small and hard to activate on iPhone. This is a known issue and it is planned to be made bigger in a future version. Meanwhile if you zoom the page you should be able to reach it easier.
As a personal recommendation, I think having menus with 20 sub-entries is very bad navigation practice.
