I had a site running sweet, just the way I wanted, apart from the lack of ability to change the order of thumbnails – a fundamental flaw but one I could just about live with.

Then somehow the theme got corrupted and I had to reinstall with the updated theme. I cannot remember how to make certain modifications to the theme and have searched all over the place to find the info, but I can’t find it.

    So

I need to float the menu at the top and change the font size
I need the menu text to be light grey on the black background
I need to get rid of all the sidebar stuff – the suggested fixes I’ve found don’t work – that says posted by and the date and the category, plus the comments are closed text
I need to know how to edit the colorbox.css file to get rid of the text that says ‘image x of x”

I had all of that fixed but cannot for the life of me remember what code to change. Can anyone help?

It would also be a big help if SOMEONE knows how to rearrange thumbnails properly. If nobody can help with these requests, it won’t be a huge problem to drop the theme completely and try something else, as I can’t stand the way it looks now, but I do like Minimatica and would like to keep it.

    Thanks

Can you direct me to the area of code that deals with menu placement and spacing? My site looks trash now and I’m ready to dump this theme for good. Please respond asap. The site used to be good for support but you seem to ignore people now.

All sorted out thanks to playing around. Took me well over a day in total hours, but it is just about how I like it.

You still need to get that thumbnail arrangement thing sorted though.

It’s an obvious thing to want new stuff at the top of the gallery, so PLEASE can you try and sort that out with simple addition of a few lines of code, rather than in a full update? After having to remake my site from scratch, it is not fun and I don’t want to have to do it again in future…
