First of all I would like to thank for this nice theme. But one Problem I haven´t solved yet is the Size of the header on my site

I think the proportions/dimensions are not the way they should be and if you compare it to this header:

you´ll know what I am talking about. This one looks much more beautyful – not only due to the header to be honest but my page is still under construction ;-).I searched the style.css but haven´t got a clue yet. Maybe someone takes a guess?

AndréTry to remove the search form from the header sidebar. The problem is that it inserts it in a location that is intended for ads. Since the search form is not an ad, it creates all that white space around it, hence the size of the header. The search form should appear even if it’s not added as a widget.
