How do make a post formatted as a link open in a new tab

Hi there!

I am using the Pinboard theme, and I would like to have the posts that I format as “link” to open the link in a new tab rather than in the same tab as my blog. Any tips on how to do this?

To see a post formatted as “link” click on the News menu item and it’s the only post in that section.
