I want six grids with different topics on home page…

I would like to have six fixed grid boxes on my home page. These will be updated from posts based on the six different content areas: Games, Locations, Players, About/New, Demo/App and Contacts.

Can this be easily done with this theme? I really like many of the options not available on other themes. The tutorials were quite good too.\

I’m a newbie so the obvious solution may not be known to me.
