Hi, I am having trouble getting my portfolio templates to work.
I want to have a sidebar.The main Portfolio page always displays as a 3 column grid no matter which template I select.
I found that when I created a page with “Portfolio” as the parent page, then when I selected the template, it would work but not for the main portfolio page!

Hmm… It works now if I set my landing page to be my “latest posts” instead of a “static page” that I had.
Sorry, it’s not working anymore. I’m not sure what’s going on!

I have selected Portfolio, Right sidebar template for my portfolio page.
What you linked above is not a static page but the portfolio category. You need to create a static page and assign it the “Portfolio, Right Sidebar” template.
I did create a static page and assigned it the “Portfolio, Right Sidebar” template…
However, it seems as if the static page AND the portfolio category have the same URL.In my “Menu”, I have linked it to the Page and not the category. However, it is still not working.
