I want to just have the sticky slider on the homepage and nothing else. I can’t see to find a place to control this?You can create a static page with no title, assign it the “Landing Page” template and set it as front page.
oh this is what i needed to do. cos i have a page called ‘home’ for the main front page and of course it says Home on the page. so i will try this…. thank you daniel.

i have done that.
set a black page as my static home, so it no longer says ‘home’ – my previous home page was titled ‘home’
in the tab above the url it previously said Home >> Joan Walsh
now with my changes it says >> Joan Walsh.
this doesnt look right.
question : how do i get my static homepage tab above the url say:
Joan Walsh | Visual Voice, Art, Songs, Creative Endeavours & Pots of Tea
Vimeothere is something i am not doing right.
I am going to reset it back to my original ‘home’ Home >> Joan Walsh, again, until i find an answer to this. http://www.joanwalsh.ie/
