Ajax navigation "Load more posts"… doesn't

I have selected Ajax navigation with previous/next, mainly to limit the amount of information on the homepage of our site http://wilmorefmc.org .

I have two questions:
1) When I click on “Load more posts”, it always returns “There are no more posts to display”, even though there are more posts. http://wilmorefmc.org/category/blog/page/2/ works manually, but doesn’t work from the “Load more posts” link.
2) How do I suppress the “Load more posts” on the homepage, but allow it on the category pages, like http://wilmorefmc.org/category/blog ?
