favicon.ico killed my site!

    Please help. I followed the direction on http://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Favicon. I created a favicon for my site. I uploaded it to the 2 places requested. When I previewed the site it returned a 403 Forbidden error. I then deleted the files I had uploaded. Nothing. I then tried to restore my site to an earlier state using my host’s backup. Nothing. I have no idea what I did wrong.

    Someone please help, I’m freaking out.

    O.K. well, not sure if anyone actually read my post. hmm. But the site is back up after some frustration with my host (fatcow) and time spent retooling by me. However, has anyone else had issues with favicon files? Just curious.
