Sidebar widgets colours also changes footer widget colour

Hi,

i was just making my sidebar text colour for the links darker – Widgets Links Color. and did that.

then i noticed the footer links colour also got darker. i didnt want that and had not selected the footer widget. in the theme options the footer widget colour remained the same, but on the page it was darker like the colour i selected for the side widgets.

why is that?

this is not a major problem, just wondered why that was. i have left the default colour as in cos of that. but in future i may want to retry this.

so how to darken the sidebar links texts and ensure the footer links texts remains as is?
