New Widget Area in the Main Content

    Hi. Great template but I want to make a change as follows:
    I would like to add a widget area that shows below the posts in the main content section on the front page.
    I have supplied a link to an image to show what I mean. Blank area image

    You can use the “Footer Wide” sidebar but it will also span the width of the sidebar not only the posts.

    Yeah I tried that but it leaves a huge gap in the content area as the footer wide is also under the right side bar.

    I see now what you intend. There’s no other way to fill up that space than to display more posts.
