Displaying Featured Image in Sidebar

Is it possible to display the featured image of a page within a sidebar?

Alternately, is it possible to display any image from the media library in a sidebar?

I think I figured out how to get an image in. I have created a custom sidebar for the page I want the image to appear in. I then add a Custom Query widget with Type as Gallery, Columns = 1, and Query = Image Gallery, where I select my image of interest. Seems to work fine.
