    Hi,

it seems that the Secondary sidebar does not show at all. I have set the sidebars and their locations in Theme Options properly as the tutorial says, but when I put a widget into my Secondary sidebar – it won’t show up on any page. However when I move the widget into Primary sidebar – it shows up fine.
I chechcked this for the sidebar set to the right of the content (and the same happens for a sidebar set to the left side of the content). The only way I manage to see my widgets in the Secondary sidebar is when I set the template with the sidebars on each side of the content.
Please see the images on what I mean:

    Sidebars Both Sides
    SIdebar To the Right

Could you please help me to make Secondary sidebar work as needed?

    Cheers

That is exactly what the secondary sidebar is for, the Sidebar / Content / Sidebar layout. Where otherwise would you want it to display?

Edit: From what I understand from your screenshots you would like it to display below the primary sidebar. If that’s the case, why not just add the widgets to the primary sidebar?

Oh,ok..sorry then. I thought that Secondary sidebar shifts below the primary, when I use the layout with the sidebar on one side.

I want to use primary Sidebar for widgets that I display e.g. on nearly all pages and secondary sidebar for widgets that differs according to the website section. In this case I could only have one primary sidebar with a set of widgets that are same for all pages (and widgets’ content on one place) and custom secondary sidebars with different widgets.

If I do what you suggest, I would have to put the widgets that are same for all the pages into each of my custom sidebar , adding to it the widgets that are different for sections. So instead of managing the content of the widgets that are same for all the pages in one sidebar, i ll have to manage the content of e.g. 2 same widgets across all these custom sidebars (e.g. I have 4 custom sidebars for 4 different sections of the web). Editing the same content of the widget 4 times in each of these sidebars.

You can use Jetpack’s Widget Visibility module for what you’re trying to achieve.
