I added a widget to my static homepage which shows the recent news posts. The widget is a custom query with 3 columns, post type archive, 5 posts and link to the archive. The posts are displayed but just show the picture, the headline as well as a “0” instead of the text. What do I have to change to show the context? In the page builder everything seems to be ok and on the news page the news teaser get displayed alright as well.
I am having the same problem, displaying a post on my home page with the custom query widget (list – single post). I noticed that the problem is mentioned as ‘known issue’ in the last theme release, but there seem to be no more updates to the theme, and no reactions to support requests after August 2015…
Did you (or anyone) find a workaround for this problem? I would be very thankful for any tips on how I can resolve it…
