I’m a big fan of the Enlightenment theme – it’s brilliant. However, I ran into a small glitch today. I added some large-ish images to be thumbnails on a blog page, but when they pulled through to the blog page, they looked rather fuzzy. Is there a setting in Enlightment that I may have unexpectedly toggled to cause this?
Here’s the blog page: http://bopomavillages.wpengine.com/updates/
You can see that the images on the top three posts (“a school with vision”, “good nutrition…”, “wesley and locadia”) are not very crisp. They seem to be pulling from a WordPress generated small thumbnail
But all the posts I made previously and imported (e.g. all the posts other than the top 3) looks great.
I did not check the “Hard crop post thumbnails” box in the Theme Options
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Jacob
I found a work around – changing themes and uploading the Featured Image there. But if anyone knows the way to fix this properly, that’d be great. I think it may be something in the functions.php file.
Hello,
I have the same problem.
Could you tell me if you found the solution?
Thanks,
Alejandra
Alejandra,
I can’t recall exactly, but I think I added a child theme and the image uploading worked better there. Otherwise, I’d try a service like GoWP to have them make a patch to help!
cheers,
JB
