Wrong header image size

I have uploaded a 392×96 image for the header, yet pinboard theme insists on displaying it as width=196 height=48. Does not matter if I crop or not, it shows it with the wrong size. Viewing the image properties in chrome also displays Naturals: 392×96. How do I make pinboard show the image in the correct image size?
