How to remove post date and "comment off" only on static pages?

I am sure I am not alone with this one and many other themes don’t have this problem. But “Cover” is so outstanding otherwise, so I am trying to tackle this one the hard way (I spent already hours googling):

How can I hide the date and comment info [b]only for static pages[/b]? Ideally with some code in mystyle.css or perhaps an update as I believe the above problem is the only mayor flaw in this fantastic theme.

Keep up the fantastic work and please save this theme from this awkward weakness, Daniel 🙂
