Hi Marcel,
the page which contains the background picture (in the theme documentation this is the page called ‘created with love for content’) includes text. In an early stage of development i just included the picture. No text. Although the reference to the widget ‘home full screen’ was set correctly, just a small part of the picture has been shown on mobile.
So either include some text on the respective page or alternatively include some blank lines as follows:

[column md=”6″]
[/column]
[/row]
When I did this, the mobile just worked perfectly as well.
