Post pictures not appearing in slider

    I’ve inserted one picture (jpg via url link) in each of 3 posts. The slider works, shows Post Title, but not the picture itself. Pictures show fine in each Post.

    What am I missing?

    OK. I found the problem: Set Featured Image can not be a URL link. This is very misleading, since URL link is listed as an option!

    Can this be changed, or must we upload media in order to be shown in Sliders????
