Can the words “image 1 of 7” (example) be removed from pop up gallery? They are interfering with the caption of the images. See http://www.grafixsites.org

In the folder scripts in the file colorbox.js you can find the following line:
current: “image {current} of {total}”,
replace it with:current: “”,
I apologise in advance for my noobism!
Where do I find the folder? I have gone dashboard>appearance>editor. I cannot find a folder named scripts or any file colorbox.js so I can only assume I am either looking in the wrong place altogether or missing something.
Is anyone able to give me a pathway to what I am looking for please?

I had the same problem. What I realized is that you can’t access those files through WordPress. You have to use an FTP like Filezilla or Fetch, use your user name and password from who hosts your site, then you can access all your files and edit them…
