"Drop down" sub-category menus only work in Minimatica default menu system.

    Hi

Great theme – I am gradually getting used to all its possibilities πŸ™‚
I have succesfully moved the menu to the top and also now have all the sub-menus dropping down nicely. This means the footer bar (the main menu) is no longer obscured when the site is displayed on a PC with a widescreen aspect ratio.

What I then wanted to do was have two blog category menu items (“About” and “Contact”) and unfortunately the Minimatica theme only supports only one ‘blog’ menu item. So I thought I’d create a new Menu to get round this.

Now the default menu structure for Minimatica automatically creates sub-menu drop-downs for child Categories, once they are populated with at least one post. However, if I create my own menu scheme from within the “Appearance” part of the dashboard the same does not happen. I can get all the blog category menu items I need, make links to other websites etc but my sub-category (“child category”) menu drop-downs are now not working.

Advice gratefully received. Thanks in advance.
