Hi, I love the theme so much. Thank you so much for it!

I am trying to add text below the home page and cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it. The website is http://www.niodesigns.com Currently I have text on the footer page, but I want it on the home page.

Also, along those lines, I want to post/blog, but not have my new posts go to the main page, does anyone have an idea of how to do that?

I would appreciate your help so much!

This page seems to have the answer to the Second Question (which is to NOT have new Posts go to the main slider), Daniel says it’s by design. The link above shows another link for a plug-in that supposedly works…

Hi Nio I just saw your website and noticed you have 4 menus. Can I know how you did that? I have a Minimatica theme also and it says in the settings that my theme only supports 1 menu. I don’t know why. Please help. Thanks!

You can add widgets to the footer area under Appearance > Widgets. You can use a text widget to display any content. They will display in 3 columns however. Then you can use a plugin like Widget Logic to display them only on the home page.

If you want to display content otherwise you can manually edit the home.php file.

Hi Daniel, thank you so much for your reply, the Widget Logic will help me for other projects, too. I think I am already doing what you recommended. mjamesf regarding how I did the multi menus, it’s actually one menu and it’s using categories. I have four main categories and then I have sub-categories with the main categories as a parent. Some other useful tools for categories and order are: Category Order which is drag and drop for category/menu order and sub menus and Redirection. This one is great for if you want the menu to go directly to your post and not to the category sub-directory. Good luck and thanks so much Daniel!
