How do I make the slider text area background darker?

    I am using this theme as a portfolio site, and would like to darken the transparent black background behind the slider text, so the text is more readable. I’ve looked for solutions here, and tried to riddle it out on my own, with no luck.

    It’s a background image in the images folder called entry.png. You can replace it with your own.
