Leave a reply section – get rid of

    Hi all

    How do I get rid of the whole leave a reply section – Im new to WP and stuff so would really appreciate the help :).

    I will not need to be using this for my site so would really like it gone.

    Go to Settings > DIscussion and uncheck “Allow people to post comments on new articles”

    I have unchecked that but it didnt work. Thats why I thought to ask here. Are there any other ways of removing it? Thanks

    I believe that setting works only for new posts you need to manually override that setting for older posts. You can manually remove the line:

    from single.php
