I am about to freak out… π
This is really a wonderful theme, Daniel – thank you so much for your work.
I have really tried to solve my problem myself – since I managed to solve all others. And actually I *know* if’ve seen a topic on this. I have now reread all 44 forum pages on Minimatic but I can’t find it anymore.
I cannot seem to manage to create an ‘About me’ page – and I am pretty sure I’m doing something really simple the wrong way. No matter what I do, it doesn’t show up. Or it does but also pops up in the slider. -.-
Here’s what I tried:
1. Create a page ‘About me’, adding ‘Pages’ to the widget menu -> Page would be linked in the menu but when clicking on the link it redirects to Home.2. Create a page ‘About me’, create a custom menu, set it as primary menu, adding page -> didn’t work, page redirected to Home
3. Create a post ‘About me’, create category ‘blog’, style ‘standard / short notice’, assigning category ‘blog’ to Theme Options Blog Category -> popped up in slider
4. Installing Plugin ‘Frontpage Category Filter’… worked but none of the galleries showed up anymore…
5. Adding a Text-widget to the widget menu – looked desastrous which I could’ve changed but actually I didn’t want to have my text on every page.
6. Google / WordPress didn’t help either – couldn’t find a similar query.
I probably forgot something I tried – I tried alot…
Everything would be perfect if I could just add a page which would show up in the side menu… That’s all I want. *sigh*
Thanks in advance for any suggestions…
PS: I have no clue on php – otherwise I would’ve try to check the code… Sorry for that. But: in case it is a code issue – I am capable of changing code. π
NoraParticipantOkay… after a weekend of reading… I remembered the following philosophy: “If you here hoofbeats, think ‘Horse’ not ‘Zebra’.”
So I acutally looked at the page I made… and it was somehow broken. Although WP converts Γ – I guess the umlaut was the problem.
Just wanted to resolve so this thread doesn’t end up unanswered. π
