So where are they? I see the blog post when I roll over it… no image. This is a new install. I set the featured image from a nextgen gallery. Would that have something to do with the missing image?
I also just installed this theme and imported my previous posts from another wordpress blog and the image slider has no images just texts. Help. This theme is too awesome to give up on.

DexxeNever mind. I have understood what you guys meant by ‘adding featured images’. So my new question is this. Is there a way to make the imageless post have default icon on the homepage instead of the black slide?
if you do not see the images in the slider: take care that the featured images are loaded from the main image depository (“mediathek” in german), not from any Nextgen gallery even when the image picker shows you the images in the nextgen galleries
I’m having this same problem. I did a partial back-end run by switching themes and attaching a featured image from the other theme, the switching back, but it’s only a partial solution. Unfortunately, I don’t know what it means to use the main image depository. When I”m in minimitica and I try to “set featured image” in the lower right hand of the post screen, I don’t see any of the images from my image library. I can’t upload from there either.
If I can’t figure anything else out, switching themes to set the featured image works. It’s just a little clunky. 🙂
