    is there a way to add a “follow me on Instagram” button ?

    Yes, can be done by a Text Widget.

    No way to add an instagram button in the header as with twitter, facebook, etc, though?

    You can try to choose any existing buttons that you might not need, change the image by FTP and link it in the theme options.

    I have created the icons myself. Not 100% quality but you almost don’t notice. Check them out @ vivelamode.nl

    I’ve renamed them to flickr.png and flickr_2x.png and inserted the instagram link in the flickr box.
