Firstly, install this plugin: Bootstrap Shortcodes for WordPress, this will go a long way to getting your site to look like the demo. Secondly, have a look at this topic in this forum: http://www.onedesigns.com/support/topic/page-templatecode-for-themes-home-page

This isn’t the easiest theme I’ve worked with but looking at the features, it’s well worth the effort it takes to learn how to use it. What I’m trying to figure out is how to get the slider working.
Please note that I like you am trying to figure things out so I might not be giving you the best advice. I’m sure that the theme developers will step in and correct me where necessary. I’m working on http://techtree.co.za at the moment and am looking to convert http://kempston.co.za to this theme.
