Anyway, the demo … in terms of the functions you have in place on it (like the search at the top near the menu) and what looks to be flexible options for the post area, I can see the potential for liking it – IF it was customizable graphically, and didn’t have to have that boxy look – I’m a stickler for alignments – so I’d want to be able to tweak –
I understand what you’re saying about backwards compatibility – and now I’m questioning how I went about handling SOME things on my bcr8tive site – ugh – I had a few intentions with that site that I accomplished – and it took on a life of its own… but if I change themes I cannot go live – not with so many posts and visitors –
When I used to develop static sites I always tested locally too – I just wasn’t aware until you just said it now – that I can run WP locally!? I’ll be ecstatic if so, it will solve a ton of problems for me. I can start the migration to the new template and not be n a maniac rush to get it done – like you said it can take a long time! (and I have clients besides myself)
How can I learn how to do that?
