I find Pinboard theme to be awesome, thank you guys for your excellent work.
However today, after updating to version 1.1.2, the 4 column layout stopped working properly. I have four columns with no sidebars, but only the first three (from left to right) are filled with content.
I wonder if this is a bug or I’m missing something in the configuration.
Kind Regards
Daniel TaraKeymasterApparently it works without issues here. However in version 1.1.2 the updated jQuery Masonry script uses a new method to calculate the widths of content column so it’s possible a bug did leak. Can you please post a link to your site and tell us which browser and version you are using?
thegemsstockParticipantHi Daniel – I think I have a similar problem. Everything looked fine until I updated today.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
AndyricardomatosParticipantIt is the same problem with me.
my site is on localhost, and today I finished the site, and did the update.
My layout is 4 column, but the same happens in 3.
In chrome works. In firefox the videos are all overlapping. I.E – the pictures do not appear.
Wanted to put the site online …. is there any solution?
I have no backup, (is there any way to get back to the previous version? Without the update)
thank you very muchlesspheresParticipantHi,
I have the same problem on my blog..
After updated to the last version, safari and chrome work find but Firefox display just 3 columns..Thanks.
ricardomatosParticipantI think the error happens for those who have:
wordpress 3.6.1 + pinboard 1.1.2When I update wordpress, never managed to change between the options: infinite scroll and ajax or static.
but I did not care.
then with the pinboard update, videos began to be overlapping.
And I still can not change the POST NAVIGATION
The infinitive scroll does not load. πlesspheresParticipantHi,
Well, i still have wordpress 3.6 but pinboard 1.1.2..
Just in case πDaniel TaraKeymasterI can not reproduce this problem and lesspheres’s website works fine for me. It’s probably a cache issue.
lesspheresParticipantHi Daniel,
Did it work fine with Firefox ?
Tried with the latest one on OS X (24.0) with empty cache, and still have only 3 layout.
Has I said, it’s working fine with Safari and chrome but not Firefox.Thanks.
thegemsstockParticipantNot sure how everyone else is getting on with this? I ended up changing themes as I couldn’t get the layout to work correctly. Whatever I tried the video thumbnails continued to overlap other thumbnails. Shame, as despite being very new to this I found Pinboard intuitive and enjoyable to use.
Cheers
Andyf355x3ParticipantI’m having the same problem with the columns on my site. I can confirm that it does appear to be browser specific. When using Firefox only 3 columns are displayed, while all 4 columns are appearing properly in Chrome, IE, Opera, and Safari. Any solution to this?
lesspheresParticipantHi,
I found in an old backup the 1.1.0 if someone is interested..
4 columns working great on Firefox.
CAUTION : i don’t kwon if there’s any security update in the theme since.- This reply was modified 11 years, 1 month ago by lesspheres.
goldiParticipantI have the same problem. My site works on Explorer and Chrome, but on Firefox the fourth column stays empty… And everyone I know uses Firefox!
I had the 1.1.0 on my computer but for some reason it doesn’t install.
“Destination folder already exists…
Theme install failed.”Is there any other fix for this? I don’t want to change the theme because I love it!
