I have a blog for which I’m using the WordPress SEO plugin. I didn’t know if I whould ask here or there, but I’ve seen something in their FAQ that makes me think maybe it’s better here.
The thing is, I try to change my meta description using that plugin. While it works for some time, as soon as I post something new, meta description in Google will be again the beginning of that post, which I don’t want. I want to write my own description.
So I’ve read in that plugin’s forum that other plugins may interfere and that might be the reason. While I don’t use any other SEO plugin, this Pinboard theme has it’s own CEO section that I’ve never touched, so the settings are the default ones.
May it really be that Pinboard’s CEO is interfering? In case it is, is there any way to fix this?
Sorry if part of what I say is nonsense, I’m a beginner with no technical knowledge.
