Additional images in header (right justified with links)

Hi, and hope you can help.

Effectively I’m trying use this technique to add some navigation buttons instead of the social icon images discussed above. I’ve basically got the additional images appearing on the page but not in the right place.

I notice the technique for doing this is a position:absolute style.css statement but even so the additional images in the header are appearing at the extreme right hand side of the screen howevermuch I enlarge or reduce the window.

Any clues?
