the theme is pretty cool but I have some problems.
Unfortunately I’m not that skilled in php :/

For example, I want every Article with the category Rap listed on the page Rap .
I googled a bit but i found only options to get the content of the articles posted, but I want it exactly like on the home page but every article should be like the first two articles listed.
Sorry for my english and this might sound a bit confusing…

Setup a “Rap” category and when creating a post for Rap select the category you created for this page. Add the category to your menu and violá…

Okay war voll echt zu verwirrend du hast mich falsch verstanden 🙂
So wäre das ganze kein Problem ich will es aber so haben das eine Statische Unterseite wie ein eigener Blog für nur eine Kategorie ist. Also Alle Artikel zu Rap sollen automatisch auf der statischen Seite angezeigt werden. Das der Inhalt der jeweiligen Artikel ausgegeben wird bekomme ich auch schon hin nur soll der im Format (Design)der Artikel sein und nicht einer Statischen Seite
Grüße LukasUnd genau hier liegt der Hund begraben: eine statische Seite kann keiner Kategorie zugeordnet werden. Warum muss es denn eine statische Seite sein?

naja nehmen wir das Beispiel es ist ein Musikblog.
Naja wenn ich viel Rap höre interessiere ich mich wahrscheinlich nicht für Alternative / Punk und deshalb interessieren mich diese Beiträge nicht.
Hättest du sonst eine Lösung für das Problem?
Sonst setzt ich mich mal ausgiebig mit Php auseinander.
Im Prinzip muss ich ja nur die single.php zu einer nach Kategorien modifizierten index.php machen .Ich habe absolut das selbe Problem und wäre über den entscheiden Tipp sehr dankbar!
Ich habe eine Page namens “News” mit dem Template “Blog” (template-blog.php). Auf dieser Seite erscheinen blöderweise alle Posts, inklusive Sticky Posts, die eigentlich ausschließlich für den Header-Slider gedacht sind. Das Auftauchen der Sticky Posts wird offenbar nur auf der Startseite unterbunden.
Im entscheidenden template-blog.php müsste wohl schlicht und ergreifend an folgendem Code eine Änderung vorgenommen werden, sodass nur Posts der Kategorie (ID 5 bei mir) angezeigt werden. Ich hab aber leider von PHP keine Ahnung und weiß nicht, wie das geht. Code steht am Ende des Postings.

English version of my post to get in touch with others than German users:I have a page named “News” which runs under the template “Blog” (blog-template.php). Unfortunately it lists also the sticky posts which are made exclusively for the header slider. Obviously their visibility is only switched off on the front page but not on other pages. On the page “news” I only want posts with the category “news” be displayed or at least, NO sticky posts from the slider category. So I guess that in the blog-template.php the following code has to be edited in order to show only 1 category id or at least exclude one. Myself being a php noob, I hope you can help me:
