Carl AndersenParticipant
Hi,
I really don’t know much about it. Could someone please tell me how I’m supposed to set it up in minimatica themes? I am a bit lost you see.
Daniel TaraKeymasterAttach an audio or video file to a post and set it the audio or video post format. You can read more about it in readme.txt.
Carl AndersenParticipantThanks Daniel
And I have just found this https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Using_HTML5_audio_and_videovitorParticipantThanks for the cool template. It’s very simple to set it up even for a dummy like me. I just can’t figure out how to upload my Vimeo and you tube videos. I don’t see where to place the embed code.
Thank you.Daniel TaraKeymasterFor YouTube or Vimeo all you need is to copy the URL of the video and paste it in the editor. It will embed automatically.
JoelParticipantI’ve just started building a website with Minimatica, and I’m pretty new to WordPress too, so sorry if my question’s really basic:
When I add the tracks and choose audio post, the player appears as Daniel said it would. However, the track also appears as a link in the post. How can I get rid of the link but keep the track/player attached to the post?
JoelParticipantI’ve gone with a simple plugin and I set the post to standard instead of audio. Seems to work well, so please disregard my question.
Daniel TaraKeymasterThe link in the post can probably be deleted in the post editor. It’s enough to attach the fine, no need to insert the link into the post unless you do RSS podcasting.
tdpParticipantHi Daniel,
Thanks for this brilliant theme, I love it!
However I’m stuck with the video playback problem as well. I managed to attach a link of my videos in vimeo and youtube to a post, by copying the URL but it won’t embed the video directly in my website. How do I manage this, I tried a lot but it won’t work so far. Sorry I’m not a pro…
Thanks in advance!Daniel TaraKeymasterMake sure the link is alone on a single line, it’s not wrapped in any tags and you don’t have a plugin that disabled oEmbed.
