Background image in header

Hi.

I’d like to use an image as background in the header in the Pinboard theme. Such as e.g. in the theme “Graphene” (https://wordpress.org/themes/graphene). How can I achieve this in the Pinboard theme?

This feature isn’t available with Pinboard, you can try Esplanade theme that has the option to display an image in the header.

Thanks for the reply. Is it not possible to change the css in order to put the header image behind the header content (text, search box et )?

The custom header behaves as a logo in this theme. There’s no traditional custom header image functionality.
