I created a new page with featured image for my homepage. The text is displayed correctly but the featured image is not set as beackground. Does it depend on the sidebar I put it in? At the moment it is at “Secondary Main Sidebar”. What else could it be that it does not work? The homepage is set to full screen.
Sonati, i’ve just figured it out. If you want your sidebar to have a background image; you don’t have to do it at the page you are creating for the custom query widget. Instead, go back to Appearance -> Theme -> edit the sidebar you created and select the background image there. So, image backgrounds need to be selected , by editing the sidebar again 🙂
