I wanted to have a smaller sidebar so i changed the width via the theme settings. Unfortunately the with of the blog homepage doesnt change its width to fill the free space.
It appears to be a bug, I’ll check it out more in depth and fix it. Meanwhile here’s a quick fix:
In function.php line 655 add !important before the last ;
