Hi I have a question. My featured images are blurry. It did not used to be like this and I did not change the size of my images. I tried to look for an answer on the forum but I never found a proper way to fix this. Does anyone know how to fix this?

If you want to have an example you can look on http://www.onmywaytofreedomland.com. The featured pictures in the older posts are sharp but suddenly they started to be blurry.

    Thanks!

Ok, then I will show you like this. On this link you see 3 featured images http://onmywaytofreedomland.com/category/see-the-world/europe/the-netherlands/. Two are sharp but the last one about amsterdam is blurry. And that happens to all the featured images now. I did not change size, every picture is 1024 px. It was never a problem until a couple of months ago…so what happened?

In the link you have sent to me I see a difference between the sharpness of the forest feature picture and the Amsterdam one. The forest picture is much sharper. Just like I see it on my computer (and others). The original pictures are equally sharp. Do not get me wrong, I do not mean that they are super blurry but they miss the sharpness they used to have. I know that more people have this problem. I am not asking for support because I did not look well. I know my pictures and I am having this problem quite a while now. I can see it is different. So again, is there a way to solve this?

    Thanks!

Try recreating all your thumbnails with AJAX Thumbnail Rebuild

I used the rebuilder on the featured images without any results. Is there anything else that can cause the blur?

I was able to identify the reason now. It’s a styling bug in the theme that will be fixed in the next version. I’ll let you know when it is fixed. Great website, by the way.

Superb! Is there also an automatic update or do I have to re-install the theme?

There will be once the theme is pushed in the WordPress Theme Directory, which usually takes 3-4 days.
