Commenting Not Working Firefox 3.6.13

    When trying to post comments via Firefox (with a test email account) to http://www.daddysphotoalbum.com/ , the page refreshs, but there is no “Your comment is awaiting moderation.” message.

    Additionally, my editor email does not receive a “please moderate” notification and no comment shows in the wp-admin dashboard.

    There’s absolutely no evidence that a comment has been made.

    Commenting appears to work as expected in Opera 11 and IE 8.

    I just passed a comment on your website from Firefox 3.6.13 and I see it as awaiting moderation.

    Just a note, if you’re logged in your comment is approved automatically, it doesn’t need to go in the moderation queue.

    Also, if you posted from that text email account, it may be that it went in the spam queue.

    Thanks, I double-checked testing (not logged in) and it looks like the issue stems from using a totally bogus email address. When I used a legit email address (different from the one I use as administrator of the site), it worked fine.

    But using a bogus email address fails every time — I don’t know if that’s happening because of WP, Askimet, or the theme, but I do know it’s not something I’m going to worry about.
