Hmmm – I installed this last night on a local server (Centos 5.5, PHP 5.2.9, etc.) and I thought it looked terrific (I still think it’s great). There was no sidebar visible but I didn’t even give it a thought – I presumed that it was some sort of option that needed to be fooled with in the admin area. Today, while trying to add some code in the sidebar.php file to enable a poll (which threw some errors) I realized that something was “not right”. There is no sidebar, regardless of the layout options I choose. And, suddenly, the slider display on the homepage is bumped down relative to the the text – way out of whack. I completely deleted the theme and re-installed the thing. It’ still doing all of this weird stuff – there are virtually no plugins enabled. Also, when I expand the widgets that came with this theme (in the admin area) they are un-editable – just a grayed out area where you can’t type… This is just a site I am horsing around with so it’s not any mission critical thing:

I’ve got a lot of WordPress sites and, well, they all work. Anyone know what could be causing this?

It’s the default layout if you have no widgets installed. Once you add a widget to one of the sidebars it will appear.
