Custom Menu not showing up on homepage

Hi guys,

First of all, awesome theme!
Thanks for everyone’s posts in support forum I’ve figured out most of my problems. I don’t know if this is a problem for everyone else, but my custom menu doesn’t show up on my homepage.
I’m using the gallery view directly as my homepage. You know at the bottom there is a nav menu with categories, but since i want to include a “page” in there I created a custom menu. After I selected the new menu as my primary the whole nav disappeared. The new menu does show up as I click on each of the posts, just not on the page with the sliders. side note… a search option in the forum would be nice. >.<
