esplade – best way to add a login area?

I’d like the Post excerpt, which is shown when you pull up all the posts in a Category, to display with its formatting. Currently, it’s all one paragraph, not formatted as written. The formatted Post is only displayed when you click on its title to see the full Post.

Is there any way to do this in Esplanade? If not, which other Themes allow this? Thanks!
