I am using wordpress v4.1 and PHP v5.5.
I found Pinboard theme very elegant and would like to use it for my blog, but, the result I get is far from the demo I found there : http://demo.onedesigns.com/pinboard/Here are my current issues.
1. While featured image is displayed along with post preview in front page, when going on post page itself, featured image is no longer displayed, only text is available ? Is that expected or do I have special customization to bring to theme ? Exemple : http://parmontsetparvaux.fr/wp/?p=24
2. While post format are available when editing a post, selecting gallery does not allow me to add multiple images to the post. (while it works when using Thoughts theme). Any idea ?

after a good night, I solve the issue for gallery post format : pictures has to be inserted into the post, such as any other media, to appear as a little mosaic on front page. Different from what I knwo from other themes, but convenient enough.
Question is : how to use video post format if I want to feature a youtube video for exampl, I am looking for such trick, but a tuto for all post format would be ideal !
And I still have the issue of featured image not featured on post page itself …

I found out for the video post format.
It appears that simply including the link such as : <iframe width=”660″ height=”371″ src=”http://www.youtube.com/embed/b31CAYF2fIA?feature=oembed” frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen></iframe>in the post displayed as text and selecting video post format works. I don’t know how, but the first video included is set as featured media in front page.
If I understand well, for post format photo, video, gallery, theme picks up automatically the first matching media inserted in the post and display them in front page.
I have to figure out how it works for other post format (a tuto would be welcome), but apparently, I have to forget WP feature image functionality.
