This is the first wordpress theme I have every used. ANd I am so thrilled at how well its coming together, as well as how every issue I have encountered I have founnd a solution!
WIth that being said, is it possible to make the slide images on the homepage, link to pages, and not the “posts.?” I have tried linking the image to the page, as the option is allowed within the media gallery, but it doesnt help. Any suggestions?The answer to this would really help! I don’t know how to add pictures or where to add them-to be more specific. Do we just insert them into the post?
I do know that i had to create ‘pages’ for all specifics…as any post, i believe will be put into the slide show.
With that being said, if you would like to add certain images into the slides, I posted them, vs writing on a page, as featured images.But, on the homepage, youd think you could click on one of the slides, and it would link to a specific page like a menu, alas, it link to the post. BUMMER!

I got my images to show now but I read somewhere here it won’t work with pages. Not sure if you already figured that out but, yeah….bummer!
The answer is use costom menu: (design > menus)
with this method you can mix categories + static pagesHere is my development site where i mix pages and categories:
